VAT Corrections

Everyone makes mistakes, and filing your VAT return is no exception to the rule. Sometimes a VAT invoice doesn't get to you in time or maybe you experience 'podgy fingers' and add an extra 0. Whatever it maybe, we all make mistakes. But it is what we do with these mistakes and how we amend them. Perhaps employing someone with skinny fingers to complete your VAT return? But when you do make a mistake how do you tell HM Revenue & Customs that you've slipped up.
